Easter Saturday Pics

Coloring Eggs, Finding Baskets, Riding Lessons, Hosting Guests, Easter Egg Hunts, Easter service w/bonnets and gloves- I'm exhausted!
Soccer game got rained out Sat. morning, so we decorated our eggs instead. It went better than I thought, although at one point Abby almost fell face first into a bowl of dye. Then, we headed to a community Easter Egg hunt with a moon bounce, carnival games and face painting. Abby didn't understand that she was supposed to find eggs, so when her turn came, she was trying to pick up the balloons and glitter from the gym floor. It reminded us of Mo when we took him to a dog Olympics once and he came in last in the "doggie distraction" competition (too busy sniffing the milk bones and stuffed animals that were strewn about). In the end, she collected one egg- which Margaret made up for later during the hunt for her age group.
We hosted Nana, Uncle Sean and cousin Caitrin for a luncheon in the afternoon. Margaret played harmonica and AP played his guitar to entertain the guests! Caitrin had a great time playing with Abby's toys and the girls enjoyed each other's company.
Then Margaret and I dashed off to riding lessons and Pops came into town. We had left overs for dinner and a quiet night after such a busy day.
