Last weekend was AP's first soccer game of the season. It was an out of town game and the fields have a great playground. The girls enjoyed playing during AP's game. AP scored a goal and his team won the game.

Later in the day, Margaret and I started our horseback riding lessons. She is riding a pony named "Lucky Charm." It is a Blue Roan. Margaret is learning how to groom her and helps brush her and pick her hoofs. She looks great on the horse and is very comfortable.
Me on the other hand; I'm a different story. My horse is a huge draft horse named "Loretta" and she has a mind of her own. She knows I am a nervous rider and she is taking advantage of it. She ran away on the second lesson and I couldn't get her to turn around. It's harder than I thought! Patrick brought Abby for the last part of the lesson and she joined me on Loretta (Mrs. B. kept her on a lead this time). She loved riding and brushing the horses as much as Margaret and didn't want to get down from Loretta when it was all over.
Right after the first lesson, I had to quickly change the girls and get them ready for the Father/Daughter Dance for Brownies. The girls looked adorable and they had a good time with Patrick, eating a ton of food and dancing the night away in the high school cafeteria. AP and I showed up to pick up Abby early and take some pictures. She didn't want to leave, but was sound asleep by the time we got home. She woke right up by the time I got her in the house and was still running wild when Margaret and Patrick showed up an hour later.
