It was such a pretty day outside that we took a walk when Pops got into town and showed him the neighbor's horses that Abby likes so much. We wished Fritzy a Merry Christmas and returned home to open presents. As soon as we got home another neighbor (the one who watches Margaret one day a week) arrived in a horse drawn carriage with presents for the kids! Her whole family came to visit on horseback and she took the kids (sleighbells and all!) on a cart ride down our street. It was such a nice gesture. I'm not sure the kids appreciate how special it was, but the grownups certainly did! What a difference from growing up on Grand Ave- what a difference!
